Intel’s Atom helps increase sales
Intel’s Atom microprocessor has become a pivotal product for the company.
Global sales of microprocessors increased during the third quarter according to a report. Shipments of microprocessors for PCs and servers grew by 15.8 percent in the third quarter of 2008 compared to the same period a year ago.
This is good news especially for the economy that is being buffeted by the financial crisis.
