People have been making Pickles for more than 2000 years. It is one of the oldest methods of preserving food, although it does not have quite the same history as drying, salting and smoking of foods. In the West, the Romans turned it into a fine art and the Egyptians in the Middle East also contributed to Pickling. In India it was turned into a fine art with various seasonal fruits, vegetables and sometimes meats being pickled for providing a taste of the fruit or vegetable through the year.
Just a quick note to warn everyone that we’re being attacked by Intel Bunny People. I was able to get this picture of them attacking my computer in my office:
It seems they like the number 23 and computers running 1000’s of emulated games. Don’t be fooled. They seem cute and charming at first but they will attack you and start to dance to MC Hammer… ah! Run away! Run away!
I real update. I just got in about an hour ago.
Well earlier today/tonight I got together with my old band mates and we jammed and we also did a couple hours of recording. MP3’s coming soon.
It was nice to get my new songs down and hear them with music. I really enjoyed playing guitar for hours upon hours and just feeling the vibe of rocking out again.
We all miss doing the band thing and we talked about getting back together on a more “real/regular” basis and do some public shows. We’ll see what happens.
All I can say is there was much rejoicing… and hopefully later, there will be some oral sex!

I’m wanting two new toys but I only have the budget for one of them. Here are my choices:
Door #1: 17″ Flat Screen Monitor for my computer
Door #2: In-dash MP3 player for my car
Here are my reasons for wanting them: Door #1 will free up a lot of space on my desk and Door #2 will give me much rejoicing (yay) while in my car and driving all over Southern California and beyond.
Ok readers… which door do I choose? Door #1 or Door #2?
