Twisted Sister Oh Come All Ye Faithful

On December 16, 2006 I posted about the Twisted Christmas album by Twisted Sister and how it’s a nice holiday edition to any metal head music collection.

Well today I figured since it’s Christmas Eve here in the United States that I’d post the video “Oh Come All Ye Faithful”, the Twisted Sister version:

Why this song and video you ask?

Well if you haven’t already watched the video, the music is based off the Twisted Sister song “We’re not gonna take it” and they did the video with a similar opening theme… “who are you? what are you going to do with your life?” – good times.

As an added bonus, since I know how to play “We’re not gonna take it” on the guitar, I can now play a metal Christmas song too :) and just change the lyrics.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays from Have Laptop Will Travel.

    Twisted is right.

I actually like metal (well, some) but this is really weird and twisted.

    Hi Sean Merry Christmas,

Twisted Sister are a blast from the past from me. I’ve still got some vinyl LPs ;-)

Hi Ainslie, Merry Christmas to you too!

Twisted Sister rocks and this is the last album they’ll put out after a 30 year career.

You still have some vinyl LPs? Nice. I’d like some pictures of the album cover art if it’s not to much trouble.

    Hey -

Google images always has something. :)

What kind of guitar do you play? I used to own a B.C. Rich B.I.C.H. Very cool looking guitar.

    Hi Nate,

I have a variety of Ibanez and Jackson electric guitars.

For amplification I use a Marshall Half Stack with a 100 watt head.

For around the house I use a Line 6 Spider Amp.

I’m also fond of BOSS effect pedals.

very nice collection. I got rid of my guitars and other goodies a while back. I sure do regret it. Its expensive stuff to buy all over again when you regain interest. :(

    Thanks Nate.

I would never get rid of any of my guitars. Well maybe a couple but I do have a couple favorites with some special memories from back in my band days.

Indeed, a very expensive hobby but back when I purchased a lot of this stuff, I was in a band, making good money and I also had a part time job at Guitar Center just for the discount :)

Definitely a plus when your in a band and working at a music store.

Maybe I’ll pick up one of those Best Buy guitars to mess around with and smash it when I’m done :)

Wal-Mart and Target also sell guitars now perfect for smashing :) however I won’t be smashing any of my beauties.

Yeah, those wannabe Gibson guitars. :)

Seeing someone smash an Ibanez or a Jackson can make a man cry. brands like those retain value.
