Turning Off A Light

A light in my office was on.

I decided that I didn’t need the light on any longer.

I pressed the light switch thereby turning off the light.

Edit (4:32 pm): Apparently people don’t get the joke about this post.

I was told about a website/blog titled “The dullest blog in the world” and after viewing it, I was laughing pretty good, so good actually that my eyes watered and I needed to walk away from the computer.

    @jml1911a1: First off, very interesting name you have there.

    Second, there is no need to go over it again because turning off a light it pretty easy.

    Be sure to check out my post again as I did an edit with some clarification of why I posted something so boring as turning a light off.

    I read this at school today soon after it was posted, then I read it again tonight after the edit, and then I had an “Ooooohhhh…” moment (which is quite different from the moment where you make an “Oh!” face).

    So how’s that new career in comedy working out for you?

    Just FYI, the comment I got in my email is a bit garbled, with your third line coming second and the second one third, and none of the thanks.

    Yes, I did edit my comment and moved it around to make it flow better. I guess you got the notification before I made the edit.

    Well .. after-the-fact .. I thought it was funny!

    I was laughing at that site, and especially at how “taking a plate to the kitchen” can have 963 comments .. .. that dude needs a spam blocker!~
