More On AT&T and Cingular
On January 16, 2007 I posted about Cingular becoming the new AT&T.
Thanks to my friend Felix, I have a great video to explain in a little more detail of exactly what’s taken place.
Ok, to recap, AT&T just bought Cingular and Cingular was already owned by AT&T. BellSouth owns who?!
Let Stephen Colbert from Comedy Central help you figure this out:
Did the video make your head spin? Can you name off all the companies that were mentioned in the video?
C’mon, strut your stuff by leaving a comment :)

My dad (who just so happens to work for AT &T) sent me this video a few days ago – pretty funny stuff. Funny because it’s true.

Haha, again, working at a big telecom/data provider I work with these names (old and new) every day. Again, the fallacy is that AT&T is another monopoly. Surely if that were true the courts wouldn’t have allowed it in the first place. Verizon has most of the east, Qwest in the west, plus all the little carriers. ;-)

OH right… the courts won’t allow anything like that. B.S.
Next in the headlines: COURT BANS MICROSOFT FROM THE COMPUTER INDUSTRY.
Then what…?
COURT BANS WAL-MART FROM SELLING ANYTHING THAT OTHER SMALL BUSINESSES SELL
Devin, you are snowed. Go smoke another one.
