dudes, lets let metallica do what they want, because they will anyway. its what their best at. and thats one reason their so liked. everybody needs to stop whining about them growing their hair backout and returning to old school style. its interesting to watch them grow musically. it would be cool to see james with hair down to his chest again, but if not, its all good

No I don’t think that Metallica is going to release anything that is near to Master of Puppets. Before St. Anger they said that they were going to the bones of Metallica and subsequently released a nu/alternate metal album. So all the fans of 1980′s Metallica, my condolences to you all.

I would have to say James, If you read this…. Grow out your hair again man!! Your job is to Rock US!! Not be a GQ Model…

My Favorite hairdo was when he was playing “Master of Puppets” on “Cliff em All” and he looked like a LION!!! Just this HUGE mass of flailing Hair thrashing about, like the end of the world was coming, and the only thing that could save us, was Jame’s Hair thrashing away the Daemons.

what a diffrence in looks…I think James looks good with any haircut. I don’t mind the shorter look…it shows off his good looks. I’m looking forward to the release of Metallica’s new album. I’m sure it’s going to rock!

Yes Metallica has been taking a long time in coming out with something of worth to die hard fans but it seems to be in the works and if Lars is correct with it having a Master of Puppets sound, it will for sure be a kick ass album.

As for PTA meetings, James is 43 or 44 now, and yes he has a family now… so I’m sure he does go to PTA meetings.

There are bands today with members that are 20 something with kids and they still rock.

Is Metallica the band that said they’ve been taking so long bringing out their new album both because they want to make sure that it sounds real good and because all the guys have been going to PTA meetings?
