<p><a href="http://www.m-w.com/info/new_words.htm" title="Merriam-Webster">Merriam-Webster</a> on Thursday stamped its approval on <a href="http://www.m-w.com/info/new_words.htm" title="100 new words">100 new words</a> that will appear in its next dictionary update, including the technology-related &#8220;google,&#8221; &#8220;spyware,&#8221; and &#8220;mouse potato.&#8221; </p>
<p><a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mouse+potato" title="Mouse potato">Mouse potato</a>? Hehe. That&#8217;s a great word! Apparently it means &#8220;<a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mouse+potato" title="Mouse Potato">a person who spends a great deal of time using a computer</a>&#8220;, so I guess that means most of my readers including myself are mouse potatos :)</p>
<p>The words will show in the 11th edition of the <a href="http://www.m-w.com/" title="Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary">Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary</a>, which will be available this fall in bookstores everywhere. </p>
