BuddyLube

On Friday November 17, 2006 I was involved in a Skype conference call that ended up becoming a Skypecast which was pretty fun, especially when I had no idea what the content or subject matter was going to be.

In the conversation, a site that goes by the name BuddyLube came up:

BuddyLube

Immediately going to the site, you’re greeted with a little jingle:

If you’re looking for a widget that’s cool, www dot buddy lube.

If you’re MySpace page needs some more attitude, www dot buddy lube.

You don’t have to know web 2.0

Just click on the eye and you’re ready to go!

It’s fast, it’s fresh, it’s easy to do, www dot buddy lube.

Buddy Lube comes with everything you see here each sold separately.

Buddy Lube! More eyeballs.

So what exactly is BuddyLube? I’m really not sure but I can’t get that damn jingle out of my head!

If you use BuddyLube or know more about it, please chime in.

    Hi Ethan.

I had to listen to that jingle a few times so I could get the lyrics correct, so that’s a huge reason why I can’t get it out of my head now.

After doing a little more research, I think Buddy Lube is just a site to direct people to eye candy, like icons and stuff for blogs, myspace and other websites.

Hey. BuddyLube is my boyfriends company. His name is Jonathan Cohen. It is a marketing firm. He represents the best in web 2.0 companies ie: Photobucket, Eventful, Snapvine… He marries technology with entertainment. He also has a artist management company called Zen Media Group so it seemless to integrate the tech companies with the entertainment world. I made the jingle. hehe.

    Hi Diana.

Thanks for stopping by and explaining what BuddyLube is all about.

Be sure to mention my site to Jonathan as it would be neat to have the creative mind behind the site stop by too.

Your jingle is very addictive. Good job!
